Serve Conference is Going Virtual!

Building on a 37-year legacy, Mission Central is introducing the 2021 Mission Central Conference which will be a multi-streamed event focused on discipleship and mission:

Create is oriented to creatives and Christ-followers who are passionate about the beauty and the power of art in expressing their faith missionally.

Grow is oriented to Christ-driven Millennials who are infusing meaning and purpose into their vocation.

Serve (formerly Missions Fest Vancouver) is oriented to disciples of Jesus who are filled with true hope and seek to contribute solutions in the world.

On June 24, 2020, Premier Horgan announced that the Province of British Columbia is approved to move to Phase 3 of its restart plan. While travel restrictions in BC are loosened and hotels are allowed to resume operating, large gatherings of people must remain at 50 people or less. With restrictions on large gatherings persisting, a viable alternative to an in-person conference in 2021 is a virtual conference, which will include features for attendees as follows:

  • Landing page or Lobby
  • Room for General Session
  • Rooms for Seminars
  • Virtual booth for exhibitors
  • Registration for guests
  • Sponsor ad spaces
  • Help desk
  • Social interaction
  • Gamification

We are excited about the possibility of hosting a virtual conference and trust that we will be able to deliver a positive experience all the way through. Serve is being planned for Saturday, January 30 to Sunday, January 31, 2021, with the possibility of a Youth event on the Friday night.

Please stay posted to updates and details as we move forward. Feel free to direct questions to office@missioncentral.ca.

If you are interested in exhibiting, the benefits of a virtual conference for exhibitors are:

  • Maintain connection with the Christian community
  • Global reach
  • Extended ROI (recording exists for post-conference viewing)
  • Strengthens brand exposure through graphics and video
  • Analytics and reporting on visits
  • Lead capture as appointments are made
  • Set appointments with guests
  • Social interactivity
  • Dynamic platform better than a webinar
  • Content can be accessible for up to one year
  • Reduced travel and hotel costs

Please exhibitor inquiries, contact the Manager of Agency Collaboration at 604-524-9944 or agencies@missioncentral.ca.
